Thermador Experience Center

As a member of the National Association of Home Builder’s Builder 20 program for the past 13 years, Troxel Custom Homes meets with 20 builders from across the country twice a year to improve their skills and knowledge as a custom home building and renovation company.  Our most recent meeting in September was hosted by Thermador at their Experience Center in Costa Mesa, CA.  The highlight of the meeting was a hands on evaluation of their equipment as our group cooked and prepared dinner guided by two Thermador chefs.  Not only was this a tremendous amount of fun, it gave each of us a unique understanding of the many features offered by Thermador appliances.  The increasing popularity of induction cooktops, the gradual replacement of the microwave with steam convection and the necessity of food particles on dishes to activate the cleaning enzymes in dishwasher detergents were a few of the many interesting facts learned during our visit at the Experience Center.
